I have been working in the staffing industry since 2000, specializing in Temp to Hire/Permanent placement employment needs for all types of industries.  I have been recruiting in the NW for the past 14 years = I can spot a flake from a mile away!

Most staffing firms say they check references, but don't!  I've learned that checking references is one of the most important parts of employing people.  If you are fool enough to believe everything someone puts on a resume you probably experience a high turnover of employees.

I will send you copies of our results including drug screens, background checks, references, resume, and confirm E-verification results!  That is what you are paying me to do right!

My reputation is pretty clear across the board - If a person can't maintain perfect attendance for the first 90 days, what is going to happen when I am no longer babysitting them?  Be honest to everyone involved, it is the only way I know how to take care of my clients and employees'.  Follow up on all activity and concerns, I am on call 24/7 365, if you need me I will be there!  Stay in constant contact with the employees, sometimes all a great employee needs is help building their self-esteem.  If an employee doesn't make the cut, don't recharge your client for what they have already paid for, replace the employee and give the client credit.  Don't take on more than you can handle at the time.  1 strike your out, I don't recycle candidates that don't make the cut, and I would rather tell a client that I don't have the right person at that time, rather then waste their time training someone that doesn't meet all the requirements.

Customers seem to go with the Account Manager (not the company), that provides them the best service and quality of applicants.  That doesn't always include the cheapest rates.  I started working for TEAM because they have the same morals and work ethics I do - It is not always about money, it's about providing a valuable service to our clients and applicants.
